Comprehensive professional lactation care for the fourth trimester and beyond
Breastfeeding is natural, but not always easy.
It can be so intense and stressful when breastfeeding is difficult.
Even when breastfeeding is going well, it can be very helpful and reassuring to have someone on your team who is a knowledgeable source of support, to address your questions and concerns. Research has shown that quality lactation support makes it much more likely that families will have successful (whatever that means for you) and rewarding breastfeeding journeys.
My mission is to provide you with warm, non-judgmental assessment, guidance, and recommendations as you work through your challenges. We will collaborate to create a plan, and I will individualize my care to help you work towards your breastfeeding goals.

Focused physical assessments
Observation of a nursing and/or pumping session
Weighing baby
A detailed written care plan sent to you shortly after our visit
A written report sent to your and/or baby’s medical care providers
Support via secure messaging following our visit to discuss questions/concerns related to the care plan
Referrals to other community resources and care providers, as needed
In-home follow-up visit—$280| For clients needing an additional visit(s) to evaluate, revise, or get more support with the care plan created in your initial home visit. Follow-up visits can also be booked by current clients who need help with a new problem. Follow up visits will last about 45-90 minutes.
Telehealth visit—$250| For less complex lactation concerns, or for simple follow-up to an initial home visit. Visit will take 1-1.5hrs. Because of the nature of telehealth, I reserve these visits for issues that can be reasonably addressed without hands on assistance or assessment, such as:
talking through questions and concerns
mild latching and positioning difficulty
pump flange fit and pump troubleshooting
planning for going back to work
Support via secure messaging following our visit to discuss questions/concerns related to the care plan
Prenatal lactation visit—(telehealth only): $180 Visit is typically 60-90 minutes. During a prenatal consult we can:
Talk through your questions/fears/concerns about breastfeeding
Help you formulate your feeding goals
Assess your breasts and nipples
Talk about breastfeeding basics—ways to prepare, how to get a good start right after birth, feeding cues, what’s normal, what to expect
Help you plan if you have risk factors that may make lactation more challenging (ie hormonal issues, have had surgery on your breasts or chest, etc)
Help you plan if you’re anticipating having a preterm baby or a baby who may require a NICU stay
Provide you with helpful information and resources in the form of links, videos, handouts, and community resource referrals
Support via secure messaging following our visit to discuss questions/concerns related to the care plan
